Professional Mountain Bike Rentals
Eco team now hire out high quality mountain bikes to clients with the following specifications and under the terms and conditions given below.
  Solid Gear - Bike
The bikes are by Cannondale, Giant, Schwinn & Specialized leaders in the mountain bike industry. Our in-house bike mechanic keeps our bikes in prime working order ready for Sri Lankan conditions for you to jump on and go. Routine maintenance and quality bikes make for a great riding experience.
  Cannondale F500

Hardtails were born to eat up tight, technical single track. The F500 is purebred all American made Cannondale.

Cannondales are more expensive because the company still makes all its bikes by hand in the United States, not overseas. There's nothing wrong with frames from Asia; most companies use off-shore factories and the quality is very good. But Cannondale wants everything in house. That design philosophy extends to other parts of their bikes; on the F500, Cannondale also makes the fork, handlebar, stem, headset, and seat post, and that's going light.

  • CAAD3 Mountain Frame, a highly manipulated butted aluminum tubeset that is lightweight and very stiff due to its oversize tubes--a Cannondale hallmark.
  • Unmatched lateral stiffness for higher top speeds and effortless climbs.
  • HeadShok Fatty M fork: Unmatched steering precision, with 70mm of travel and 88 needle bearings to eliminate stiction.
  • CODA CF-1 crankset: Cold-forged aluminum alloy arms for strength and stiffness. Lightweight aluminum outer chainring, with steel middle and inner rings for durability
  Giant RinconXC

Iis the most popular form of Mountain Biking - and the Giant Rincon was made to excel in this category. This hardtail is highly efficient for singletrack or fire road mountain riding. It is also great on smooth, wide-open trails!

  • Frame: Supersized ALUXX butted aluminum, bi-oval down tube
  • Fork: SR/Suntour XCR-E, 3" travel
  • Derailleur Front: Shimano Altus, Rear: Shimano Acera
  • Derailleurshifters: Shimano EF-29, 7-speed
  • Ranks: SR/Suntour XR182, 24/34/42T
  • Brakes: Alloy direct pull w/ power co
  Schwinn Moab 2

This bike has a 3.5-pound frame artfully rendered in N'Litened™ Gold Label Super Butted tubing, at a price that'll allow you to subsist on something other than ketchup packets and tap water. Revel in the fact that you can go fast and still get the recommended daily allowance of niacin.

The minimum age to ride a bike on a tour is 16 years. If you have kids younger than that we can arrange other activities for them, as we do not carry children's biking equipment or safety gear as of now.

  Safety Gear

Helmets are required and it's recommended to bring your own. Our helmets are by Gyro, Bell and other industry leading reputed companies. [Could be rented on availability] You are responsible for gloves, biking shoes (sandals not allowed), and clip-on paddles if you require them or anything else you may need such as extra snacks.
