Day 01 - 03 : Beruwala / Aluthgama – Diving (HB)
Welcoming the guest at the airport and transfer to a hotel in Aluthgama.

DIVING
Sri Lanka is known to the world as the pearl of the Indian Ocean and offer a unique tropical escape into the world of paradise spread with lagoons and miles of sunny beaches or wonder into the green fauna or dive in the deep blue ocean exploring the brooding ship wrecks, and admiring gorgeous coral reefs and exotic tropical fish which will have you taken very deep breaths.

SCHEDULE
• Arrival & transport to a hotel in Beruwala
• At leisure on the first day.
• On day two & three, each guests will do 2 dives per day in Aluthgama
• Dinner & night stay at Beruwala / Aluthgama. Value – or similar / Standard – Tropical Villas or similar/ Deluxe – Eden Resort or similar.

Day 04 - 06 : Weligama – Diving (HB)
After breakfast leaving to Weligama.

“WELIGAMA BEACH”
Yala Rock is a rocky area with Big rocks of 15 meter high reaching till 5 meter under the surface. The dive site lays 15 min. by boat from Bay Beach Hotel. What can we see in this beautiful area? Besides massive rocks there are small caves with sometimes big Potato Groups or big Murrains inside, but luckily there are not the only fishes we can see, there are many different species. to see especially in the neighbourhood of the big rock. Even we may see Rays. Turtles and Napoleon Parrotfish. Besides fish we find different kinds of Corals on the rocks and with night diving we will see Lobsters walking cross the bottom.

We can enter the caves and there are many that give us the possibility to pass under the rocks.

All activities are conducted by well trained and experienced UDI and PADI instructors with very special attention to your safety.

SCHEDULE
• Leaving to Weligama after breakfast.
• On day 4 a dive per person.
• Lunch own arrangements.
• On day 5 & 6, each guest will do 2 dives per day in Weligama & surrounding areas.
• Dinner & night stay at Weligama. Value – Crystal Villa or similar / Standard – Weligama Bay Beach Hotel or similar / Deluxe – Weligama Bay Beach Hotel (Suite) or similar.
 
Day 07 - 08 : Tangalle – Diving (HB)
Leaving to Tangalle.

All diving activities are conducted by well trained and experienced UDI and PADI instructors with very special attention to your safety.

Optional: Turtle Watch at Rakawa.
Five out of 7 species of marine turtles come ashore to nest in Sri Lanka. The turtle Watch programme is a nature tourism initiative developed by the TCP (Turtle Conservation Project). “Rekawa” which is one of Sri Lanka’s most important marine turtle nesting where all 5 species come to nest throughout the year. The peak season takes place between February and July. Even though there isn’t any guarantee that marine turtles come to nest every night, you will be guaranteed an exiting night time adventure on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches.

You will be taken to the Turtle site around 7.00 pm and will return to the hotel at 1 am in the morning.

• Guests will proceed to Tangalle after breakfast for a dive there & in the surrounding areas.
• On day 7 a dive per person.
• Lunch own arrangements.
• On day 8 2 dives per person per day.

Day 9 : Negombo (HB)
Leaving to Negombo via Udawalawe & Colombo.

UDAWALAWE NATIONAL PARK is located approximately 200 km south-east of Colombo city. The 30,821 hectare dry zone game park has an annual rainfall of 1,524 mm and an average temperature of 29.40C. It is most famous for the many elephants that live there (about 400 in total). During a visit, it is not unusual to see whole herds – adults and young, feeding and bathing or playing in the water! In addition to this main attraction, the park is home to many water buffalo, water monitor lizards, sambar deer, monkeys and the occasional leopard, as well as being an exciting location for bird enthusiasts. A 4WD open-top safari is the only way to see all the wonders this protected reserve has to offer, and our experienced and knowledgeable nature guides will make this an unforgettable experience.

COLOMBO
Like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the Old World charm is retained. As an example there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the “Pettah” bazaar where one can shop for bargains, the old Parliament in Fort, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall - BMICH, an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.

NEGAMBO
Bustling Negambo town is a historically interesting place strongly influenced by the Catholic Church. The narrow strip of land between the lagoon & the sea and the many cannals make for a good exploring.
The Dutch captured the town from the Portuguese in 1640, lost it again in the same year, then captured it again in 1644. The British then took it from them in 1796 without a struggle. Negambo was one of the most important sources of cinnamon during the Dutch era, and there are still reminders of the European days.

• Guests will proceed to Wattala / Negombo after breakfast via Udawalawe & Colombo.
• Lunch own arrangements
• Dinner & night stay over at Negambo. Value – Hotel Sunset Beach or similar / Standard – Browns Beach or similar / Deluxe – “The Beach” Hotel or similar.
