This photo shoot highlighting the beauty of the combination of sun,sea & sand which Sri Lanka possesses took place from 19th to 24th February 2006 .

A Beach camp for the shoot was setup in an isolated and exotic Beach in the deep down south [Midigama]of the country with excellent opportunity for Surfing away from crowded tourist destinations.

Culture and nature aspects were captured in the Kanneliya Rainforest waterfall and some others small towns close by.

A vintage Benz bus, which is still used for passenger transportation in this remote part of the country provided transport for 9 models in the shoot.

Plenty of surfing & kite surfing shots were taken not forgetting an adventures sail fishing boat shoot in the middle of the sea.

This shoot was made possible by one of our UK partners Voyage Concepts Pvt Ltd.

Cotswold Outdoor Ltd - a leading outdoor gear store chain in UK accepted an invitation by Sri Lanka Wildlife Conservation Society for their 2006 summer catalogue shoot. Cotswold decided to support this through Biosphere Expeditions as such Eco Team was selected to provide the entire logistical support over a period of 17 days from to 31 st October 2004 for a team 7 crew members.     

Shoot was completed covering historical sites / culture / people /  Nature & adventure  in 8 locations island wide, including some of the very non-touristic   locations in the wilderness..  

Minds Eye Pictures, which was here in Sri Lanka as a part of their adventure covering 26 countries in 8 months,from 27th August 2001 to 4th September 2001. Eco Team (Pvt) Ltd , www.srilankaecotourism.com handled the most interesting part of the tour - living with the "Veddha" community in Dambana, taking elaborate care so as to give them the best possible comforts.

The program was based upon a single woman's life, Asia [name] voyage of discovery through physical adventures & cultural adventures.
