Day 1Arrive in Mahoora Tented Safari Camp Udawalawe
12.30 pm – After check-in to the camp, explore your surroundings and relax until it’s time for lunch
01.30 pm Enjoy a typical Sri Lankan lunch with locally sourced fresh ingredients and get ready for the evening safari which begins at 2.30 pm
02.30 pm – Afternoon Safari in Udawalawe National Park – Optional
06.00 – 06.30 pm – Return to the camp which will be lit up by lanterns & flame torches. Enjoy complimentory Tea / Coffee and snacks.
07.30 pm – Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner around the campfire under a million stars
09.00 pm – Complimentary night walk in & around the campsite
Overnight stay at the Mahoora camp.
Day 2Departure
Early morning Safari Game drive with a packed breakfast. [ Optional ]
Check out by 10.00 AM and depart for your next destination.

FAQ
Do you provide toiletries or should I bring my own?
We take pleasure in pampering our guests as we understand that with the rush of packing for a holiday they may forget some essential items. Therefore we offer a range of complimentary toiletries including shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
Do you provide laundry services?
We currently provide laundry service for Elite & Premium Explorer by Mahoora and is a charged service available for urgent instances only.
What kind of footwear do you recommend for my stay?
We advise you to always have a pair of trainers for nature walks and night walks. You may also carry flip flops or a pair of sandals (that can sustain hard rocky ground) for other times.
Do you have facilities to store valuable items ?
Ours is a mobile tented safari camp and we do not have facilities for safe keeping. We encourage our guests to minimise carrying valuable items. In the event that you do carry any, we advise that you keep such items with you at all times.
What if I require something essential when I am at the camp ?
We will be able to assist based on the requirement. However, please note we are 20-30 minutes away from retail stores and combine all purchases at the same time to maximise the trip.
Do you provide driver accommodation in the campsite?
We do not provide driver accommodation at the campsites. However, we are able to assist you in arranging accommodation at a minimal cost.
Is WIFI available at the site?
YES. But however, this is limited to two-time slots which are from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM and from 06.30 PM to 10.30 PM. We kindly request that you limit your usage during these times so that all guests can have access to the WIFI service.
